I agree, this is an excellent novel! I didn't realize until now that this was her first one. The characters are so real I felt like I had a connection to each one! I can't wait to read her next book!
I found this book on this site and took a chance with it. I love reading historical fictions- especially books set around the Black Plauge time period. This book has to be my FAVORITE book now. I've passed it on to a few of my teacher friends and every one of them has had the same opinion as me. This book is such an easy read with many interesting characters to keep you entertained. The ending itself will keep you thinking for awhile! I ususally describe this book as Canterbury Tales meets the Bubonic Plague. I highly recommend this book!
