I was surprised to find out about Julian Petroleum and the scandal. I have a picture taken of the gasoline station that my grandfather owner with the name in bold lettering "Julian Defiance Gasoline". I had just assumed that this was the name of the station before my grandmother purchased the station and then added her name in bold lettering.
I am a notive Californian but now live in the South.
