11/22/63 by Stephen King

nezpro, January 2, 2013

This is an excellent departure for Mr. King. I was in grade school when John Kennedy was assassinated and can still remember with vividness the shock and sadness of the nation. Everyone knew that our lives and the path of this nation would never be the same. How many of us would jump at the opportunity to go back in time if we could alter that one single event. Of course things are seldom what they seem and changing the path of our collective future in such a critical way may be both astounding and frightening. Mr. King takes the reader on quite an enjoyable journey as the pages of his story unfold. The characters are multidimensional yet easy to relate to. Definitely a must read for anyone interested in time travel, politics, history, or the simple complexity of a novel that is too good to put down. Do yourself a favor and read this book. You will not be disappointed.
