I was so afraid this would be another one of those titles like How to Talk About a Book You Haven't Read. As a voracious reader AND an English instructor, I really do believe the classics are worth reading. I also agree that how they are presented can do much to destroy any interest. (I try to imagine how my own book group would react if instead of discussing the books, we had an objective test.)
