Brian Keene really knows how to reel in the reader. This book was fantastic! It left me on the edge of my seat everytime I had to turn the page! It starts off with bang and you just can not put it down until the book is finished. One of the BEST horror books I've read in a long time and I can't wait to read the next book in line "City of the Dead". He knows how to catch the readers attention and imagination. He is so descriptive that he seriously puts you right into the book like you are standing face to face with neighbors, friends, and family that have all turned into "crazed zombies". I will surely be investing in the rest of his books!
This book was superb! It had all the elements of a book that I absolutely love! The game of cat and mouse was epic and the scavenger hunt was awesome! The whole idea to this book was well thought out and executed very nicely! Unfortunately I haven't read Creepers yet but reading this one first and reading the references in Scavenger,to the book Creepers, has left me very anxious to get my hands on a copy of Creepers. This book was by far one of the best books I've read this year.
This was an excellent book. You never suspect the ending and that is what I love about books...the unexpected ending! She brings you into the courtroom and leaves you to wonder what is going to happen next. This book really tugs at your heart strings at times, then brings out the anger of the character, and then the satisfaction of a job well done. VERY GOOD book!!
I thought this book was a page turner. There were some very interesting points and very interesting conclusions. Honestly I think Patricia Cornwell is the first author that has come extremely close to figuring out who Jack The Ripper really was,if not nailed it right on the head. After reading this book I can honestly say I believe she has finally figured out Jack the Ripper's true identity. Her case and point was gracefully backed up by valid research(of what is still available) and conclusions that are to factual to ignore. Well done.
