Catching Fire (The Hunger Games #2) by Suzanne Collins
Catching Fire (The Hunger Games #2)

Catching Fire saved me from being incredibly bothered after The Hunger Games. The cliffhanger was so immensely intense in both novels. Catching Fire is a perfect sequel to The Hunger Games, it provided great follow up. Suzanne Collins definitely knows how to utilize words and she has the greatest ability of connecting her audience with the characters. She is a great commander of emotions and the way everything just flows is so incredible. I recommend this for anyone of any age. I can not wait until Mockingjay arrives in August!

The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1) by Suzanne Collins
The Hunger Games (The Hunger Games #1)

To express my affection for this brilliant novel, would be to write a novel in it self. I was blown away by Suzanne Collins ability to take my emotions and trigger them whenever she felt was neccessary. I frequently felt compassion for the main character, Katniss Everdeen. Katniss is a 16 year old girl whose only wish is for her family to survive, after the death of her father she turns into the primary caregiver. She is such a strong willed and fierce personality. The reason I can connect so well to Katniss is due to Suzanne Collins' amazing technique to open her up throughout the novel. We find out that the end of The Hunger games brings more trouble than ever thought before the novel even began.

Ginger Pye by Eleanor Estes

This book is excellent for children. I would reccomend for anyone with a sense of a good book. I love the story. Two siblings buy an extremely talented puppy, who they automatically love. Family and friends are very important roles in this book.Eleanor Estes(may she rest in peace) did an excellent job. She grabs her reader's attention, and never lets go.
