This book is a good light read. It's a mystery conspiracy with a touch of sci-fi and plenty of plot twists to keep the reader involved. Is Jane Charlotte really part of a mysterious crime fighting group or is she just delusional? And who are these bad monkeys? It's a fun trip to find out the answers. I couldn't put this book down and I was sad when I finished it. A young woman is trying to find her father by searching her family tree. Each chapter is written from the point of view of different people. It is like having a compilation of short stories all tied together by this one descendent...and don't forget the monster!
