Vultures' Picnic: In Pursuit of Petroleum Pigs, Power Pirates, and High-Finance Carnivores by Greg Palast
Vultures' Picnic: In Pursuit of Petroleum Pigs, Power Pirates, and High-Finance Carnivores

paul roman, December 15, 2011

Very funny book about a very sad topic.
If only more reporters actually did the legwork that mister Palast does we wouldn't be in the mess we are in.
I am not saying that just because I grew up in the Valley either.
Greed is killing our planet. Unfortunately the monied class is buying all the media outlets to the common people.
Books are the last place to find some truth.

Confessions of an Economic Hit Man by John Perkins
Confessions of an Economic Hit Man

paul roman, April 8, 2009

If you want to understand what just happened in America this is the book.
Bechtel and KBR have been practicing in the 3rd world for decades so they could perfect it for the U.S..
The next book should be on offshore banks and how they are used to pull the caper off.
