Rikki finds it very hard to trust and get close to people since something horrible happened to her. Amiri is afraid that anyone getting close to him will be hurt or worse. It makes for allot of great interaction between the characters.
The majority of the story takes place in the jungles of Africa. Marjorie does a beautiful job of describing it and the action so you feel like your right there with them. This 7th book of the Dirk & Steel agency packs a punch...especially seeing one old enemy/friend again...you decide!
