Wesley the Owl: The Remarkable Love Story of an Owl and His Girl by Stacey Obrien
Wesley the Owl: The Remarkable Love Story of an Owl and His Girl

pmd4art, November 4, 2008

As an owl lover, how could I not relate to this moving account of a baby owl rescued, adopted, nurtured and loved by the author? If anyone has ever rescued a wild animal and successfully incorporated it into their life they will understand the incredible gift which has been given to them.
Stacey Obrien has demonstrated that special brand of love and intuition required in dealing with the special needs of a predator bird forced, by the injury to his wing, to depend upon a human to procure his natural menu (mice, mice, and more mice) The bond that develops is fascinating to observe. and, as the observers, we the readers are invited to enter this incredible world of animal/human love and trust.

This is a book which will touch hearts, amuse and inspire readers of all ages. This is a book to be treasured,
