Over my years of reading Trillin, I feel I've gotten to know him and his family. I've had the pleasure of speaking to him twice when he's been on book tours in the Pacific Northwest....he blushes at praise...he is a kind and gentle manNow I want to go back and reread his earlier books, with this lovely book in mind....this is a treasure.
