Meggs' History of Graphic Design by Philip B Meggs
Meggs' History of Graphic Design

I bought this book for my online class. THE VERY NEXT DAY it arrived at the Powell's location on Hawthorne for pickup. (Cool!)
This book is an incredibly easy read when it comes to art history. I generally find history bland and a difficult read, but that's not the case with this book. There is a lot of exciting vocabulary to come across, and plenty of material that sounds interesting enough to do additional research on. I haven't read beyond the first few chapters, but doing a brief glance through later pages in this book it still looks quite exciting.
I am intrigued and can't wait to finish my readings from this book for my class!
