Cathy's Book: If Found Call (650) 266-8233 by Sean Stewart and Jordan Weisman
Cathy's Book: If Found Call (650) 266-8233

purplegirl432, April 22, 2010

This book was off to a slow start. I enjoyed the book, but not as much as I had anticipated. Visiting the web links took a lot of time, and I did not learn anything new, aside from a few interesting tidbits about culture and stuff. But I have found and heard from many other readers that aside from the interaction factor, calling long-distance doesn't really add much. Life goes on.

Cathy is an older teenager, who is highly unrelatable. She stalks her boyfriend, and she sneaks into his workplace. She never really gets caught, and the belivability factor just wasnt there.

There was a big problem with motivating myself to continue on. Sometimes I just wanted to try something else, because I wasn't getting much substance.

But then I arrvied at the end. The twist was the only thing that made the book worthwhile, even though it was a bit Twilight-esque.

In this book, everyone gets their happy ending, which leaves you feeling full and refreshed.

Despite all of this, I am looking forward to reading the sequel.

SUMMARY

Cathy is not just your normal run of the mill teenage girl. She works with conviction, and she has goals that simply must be attained. Cathy is acompained through all of this by her best friend, Emma. Emma is the brains. She tries to keep Cathy rational, but realizes that she simply can not be reined in.

Victor and Cathy meet and begin dating. There is never a faithful kiss, but Cathy will continue to hope for one eventually. When Victor suddenly breaks up with Cathy without reason, she becomes determined to get back into his life.

A series of mysterious clues lead Cathy to believe that there is something more to Victor than meets the eye. Needle marks on her arm, and a gap in her memory lead to conclusions that he is testing something on her, as he works in bio-medics.

As not to give away the shocking ending, heres a little clue... the couple gets together, and may stay that way... forever.
