this book is the wonderful story of how citizens know what is best for them and when they organize --they are like a mighty river. i loved reading this book because i remember the fight!! we won!!! every time i travel on the west side hiway downtown i smile--we beat the paver of all that makes my city wonderful.
this book is a road map to organizing communities to fight the developers, the politicians and the yuppies.
