Wonderful! I came to this book late, obviously. I lived in Akron Ohio, Dove's hometown and the locale of much of her work in this book. I knew the streets she wrote about intimately and so I could easily visualize the events and emotions she wrote these poems about. Having moved away this year, reading these poems in my new home has given me a new feeling for my old one. This is wonderful work and makes me want to read more.
