As an eighth grade literature teacher, I was looking for something to interest my students in the fantasy genre.
This is the book that I chose, and I have not been disappointed. With so many underlying themes, the topics for discussion and possible activities were almost infinite. Students who did not normally enjoy reading were ensnared in this tale.
