The Lobster Chronicles: Life on a Very Small Island by Linda Greenlaw
The Lobster Chronicles: Life on a Very Small Island

salientpoint101, January 20, 2010

Linda Greenlaw has a wonderful way of telling a story. After reading this book I wanted to see it played out on either a movie screen or, preferably, as a television series which I could then look forward to week after week. The social interactions which take place in these stories between family members and communitiy members are told in a way that made me feel like I was present and didn't want to leave. In fact, after closing the book I wondered if I was made of the right stuff to be able to pack up my family and head to the American northeast in search of whatever it was which Linda Greenlaw had made me feel while reading her stories.
