Porter is one of the most honest writers I've ever encountered...willing to expose vulnerabilities in her characters that many of us readers would be loathe to admit we suffer from. This book is both funny and touching, heartbreaking and hopeful. As the main character navigates her way through her relationship with her daughter, her parents, and a possible new man in her life who seems to stand for everything she finds herself bucking against, you'll find yourself rooting for her and sympathizing. Fantastic read!

A fantastic addition to Ward's incredible world where vampires protect humans from the evil Others. Wonderfully written and edgy, the characters remain with you long after you've closed the book.

Rowe has done it again with the 4th in her fun paranormal series! I laughed, gasped, and even got a little teary-eyed at times. Rowe's characters are fun and complex, her world-building fabulous, and her on-the-edge-of-your-seat stories keep you reading at a fast pace. Highly recommended!
