Maybe the results aren't in.....just because it isn't yet obvious....someone wrote a book about them. The rest of us are reading the book...who's to say one of these lives wont inspire someone else who WILL change the world!

I thought Kiterunner was good but overated.....not so with A Thousand Splendid Suns....it was hard to remember that the author was a man...I can't think of a woman author who could have told the story better.

Vreeland has been called a "formula" writer.....she is. She has found a formula that wisks her readers to another time and place. She takes the us by the hand and leads us to her table at the boating party where we all spend a wonderful afternoon!
