The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini is fantastic fiction. Asne's book is the real deal; it is brilliant. I married an Afghan 25 years ago which brought me into contact with Afghan families in the US. Asn'e book is about a family she lived with in Afghanistan, yet it could just as well have been an accurate description of the Afghan refugee families I came to know intimately. I have relished every page...Thank you Asne.
