If you know of someone who is at a loss because they are told they are different, this book may help.
It tells us that there are always better options around – if only we try. And “try” – being an operative word – is not such a bad thing. To try to do better, to try to know more, to try to be the best that you can be – are these really too much to ask?

If Nelio was really a wise 10-year old kid, then he certainly was that. There's a haunting quality to the decisiveness by which he makes his decisions. And yet, it isn’t all too difficult to imagine that given that place and time and the events that shape his life, a boy can be such a man. It reminds me of Oliver and Annie and Peter Pan – all rolled into one beautiful, mystical telling of how urchins can be heroes as well.

The Chronicler... is a Wonderful Read.If Nelio was really a wise 10-year old kid, then he certainly was that. There's a haunting quality to the decisiveness by which he makes his decisions.
