Fight Club 1st Edition by Chuck Palahniuk

My partner is a diagnosed narcoleptic. This has always been his favorite book, for reasons that are unclear to him.

Being a narcoleptic gives you a pretty fine BS detector, since you spend a lot of time hallucinating. He let me know recently that it was clear to him from the start that Marla wasn't a real person. It's as clear to him as it is when the person who just walked by wasn't there, he says. I considered letting Chuck know, since it is his book and all, but he doesn't invite fan mail. So I'll just leave this here, in case it's of interest to anyone.
