As a big fan of her "Shiver" series, I was looking forward to this book. It turned out to be just as compelling a read as that series, if not even better!

What a fantastic book! It is so steeped in true history you hardly know where the "historical" part of the book ends and the fantastical part starts. After I read this book I read a biography about Abe just to find out the truth of what was written. It's amazing how much research and truth the author was able to put into this wonderful book.
