I'm more of an audiobook guy, but when I heard Bitter Seeds described on the Sword and Laser podcast as "Historical science fiction where the Nazis developed X-men and the British fought back with their Warlocks" I picked up this hard copy. The strange part is that description is just the tip of the iceberg. This book is beyond incredible. I never have/make time to read, but I could not put this down. It is completely engaging and the only drawback is the sadness you feel knowing you're about to finish it... Until you realize this is the first book in a trilogy. Buy this incredible book now, thank me later.
