A deeply personal and well-written account of the events in the life of a troubled yet very talented songwriter and entertainer. Warren Zevon's life is described through the eyes of his family, friends, and colleagues in the music business. There are also entries from his diaries. Hard to put the book down once you start reading it. I didn't want it to end, knowing the sad finish, but I think Crystal Zevon keeps the spirit of Warren Zevon alive in telling his story.
