I just received this book as a gift, I read it in 2 days. That being said, what Mr. Defede, has shown is that there is still good in the world, regardless of the evil that is still out there. Yes that day everyone was an American, those of us who were lucky enough to have been born here, and the ones coming here for a new way of life.
Reading some of the passages, I got chills, just from the memory of that horrible day. But, I cannot imagine being 30,000 feet in the air and not knowing, then to have complete strangers take you in, taking care of you,your family and pets, opening their homes and hearts. God Bless Them. I just would like to say, Thank you for giving the people an insight to the good, as evil was striking the hearts and souls of everyone.
