Absolutely a 5. All the way. I have always loved this book. It is a classic. It has won how many awards? Exactly. People ban it because the police are portrayed as pigs. Well, the main character is a donkey. Yes, an ass. Also, people say it is too sad for children. But, these adults also have to consider that the world is not always happy. A+.
