Burned is an extremely heart-wrenching story about a teenage girl named Pattyn who goes through a very hard time in her life. Ellen Hopkins is an amazing author. In Burned she has the whole story being played out in your mind. Pattyn goes through so much; it makes you feel as if you are Pattyn. I almost cried at the end of the book, it is so sad and realistic!!! I could not put this book down. I recommend this book to anyone!!!

I felt as though Laurie (the author) painted this amazing world into my head full of the truth about losing a best friend and losing my life. I think that this book holds millions of truths and EVERYONE should read and discover what Lia's story has to say!!!!

This book hits hard in the relationship part of life. Every teenager thinks they are in love, and have the 'perfect' relationship. But once you begin to think about it, you are wrong. Lauren is just an average girl dating the perfect boy. But once Lauren sees Evan (a boy from her past) she is immediately drawn to him. I could not put this book down. I read it in probably about 1 - 2 days. It is an awesome read and I recommend it to ANY teenager just to give them a dose of what is real and what isn't.
