By writing this book, telling the story, building the data base, Paul has drawn a map of a world that no one sees in mainstream media today. It is the map of how people want to live and what they value that is not expressed by who and how people vote. It's a more complete picture than anyone could ever find reported in the press.
It's a confusing map with clouds, storms, eruptions and chaos.
It's an invitation to really look at the value of the Blessed Unrest and support it by investing in it financially to grow into an educational and purposeful movement to lead for change. The emergence of this movement over the last 40 years has been powered by passion. This movement now needs a new form to sustain itself and be powered by constant and persistent efforts to measure return on investment of the time of the people who give their time and to the philanthropists that see that money when constructively invested in ngo's can measure results of lasting social and enviromental impact.
This movement has set the foundation from which small groups of people are changing the world so all people can live in it with the best of possibility to breathe clean air, be healthy and have what they need in the context of the culture they live in - wherever they live. By acknowledging that this movement exists and investing in it, it will be possible to see this change sooner rather than later.
