Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries by Naomi Wolf
Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries

t.magnuson, October 28, 2008

While a strong argument can be made that many people are sensing a loss of power, Naomi Wolf points it out well, there is much people can do to reclaim their choices and make life the best-Give me Liberty!
Ted Magnuson, author, Those Self Evident Truths.

Big Brain: The Origins and Future of Human Intelligence

t.magnuson, July 17, 2008

Lynch and Granger do a great job bringing us up to date on the development of the brain. Where do we go from here? Public TV has a special on 'The World Wide Mind,' that speaks event today of blind people being able to see by having a camera hooked up to their optical nerves and the paralyzed being able to think words onto pages...Ted Magnuson, author The Moses Probe.

The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot by Naomi Wolf
The End of America: A Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot

t.magnuson, May 29, 2008

With the media striving for more and more shock value, with those in public life more motivated by self-interest than community building, it is good to see Naomi Wolf stepping forward to set the record straight, encouraging readers to think for themselves and take a stand. After all the sacrifices our forebearers made, if they could, I'm sure they would jump out of their graves, and throttle some of the jokers who've put greed above grace. Naomi, you go! Ted Magnuson, author 'Those Self Evident Truths.'

Lottery: A Novel by Patricia Wood
Lottery: A Novel

t.magnuson, August 19, 2007

With his IQ one point above retardation Perry L Crandall wins millions in the Washington State Lottery. The reaction of his plain folk boatyard friends and his conniving plastic relatives tells a very compelling tale. Values such as friends, family, intelligence, 'common sense' and the standards we set for ourselves and others are seen through a new pair of eyes. A quick well written read. Grab it, you'll like it!
