I enjoyed reading this book. Joanne Harris is a phenomenal writer and she came through again on this revisiting perhaps her best-known characters from her previous title, Chocolat. The story was mesmerizing and well written. The characters had grown since the last time we saw them, and yet there was still the familiarity of old friends. Excellent book and well worth reading.
