Brilliant collection of thoughtful essays on a variety of subjects. David Foster Wallace had an amazingly insightful mind, and these essays are among the limited material he left behind. This is the best book (out of 55) I read in 2011, and I would consider his other book of essays (Consider The Lobster) to be second best. If you have not yet had the experience of encountering Wallace's hilarious, yet intellectual and meaningful musings on tennis, David Lynch, the Illinois State Fair, among other subjects and experiences, acquire this book immediately and prepare to expand your consciousness.
