I love this book and with at least 25 cookbooks (I love them!) on my shelf at home, this could quite possibly be my favorite ever! Okay, I may have a slight obsession with cookbooks (and yes, I do use them often and each have at least 10-20 yellow stickies plastered with tips/my ratings, etc). I've been looking for a new flavorful, healthy cookbook and after loving Reno's first cookbook, I thought it'd be interesting to see what she came up, knowing 150 recipes would be new.
I have 3 words: Tofu Crème Brule...Wow! One of the best desserts I've ever made! I've already made it 3 times for different occasions and no one believes me that it's a healthy recipe. I also loved the Morning Berry Egg Strata (made that for Christmas morning), the Chicken Curry Soup, the lifestyle bars, the beef, barley & veggie soup, the ratatouille, the bison chili, the sweet potato patties, and the bahmi special (kind of like Indonesian style pad thai). I could go on but I'll leave the rest to you to decide for yourself! But this book is definitely a MUST HAVE!
Oh, and if it benefits the ratings here at all, I read that it was nominated for the Gourmand World Cookbook Awards in Paris this year. How awesome it that??
