The Art of Pilgrimage: The Seeker's Guide to Making Travel Sacred by Phil Cousineau
The Art of Pilgrimage: The Seeker's Guide to Making Travel Sacred

timtation, November 21, 2006

Required reading if you are paying Cousineau to be your Euro-Asian tour guide to spiritual ecstasy. For everyone else, absolute rubbish. Indicative of the New Age, Cousineau lacks the rigor and vigour of his mentor Joseph Campbell, and his sloppy come-on to bliss feels like spiritual harassment from a cocksure hippy. Enough of this fuzzy Buddhist bs, this smug tomb needs to be sealed six feet underground.
