I am a huge fan of Ms. Peters "Amelia Peabody" series. But I was a "Barbara Mertz" fan first. I met her in Cincinnati several years ago at a lecture she gave at the Museum of Art. She autographed books after the lecture and I was the only person there who had brought her Barbara Mertz books to be signed. She was a little stunned and we chatted a bit about Egypt and her non-fiction career. I used to dream about what it would be like to be her secretary. I can't wait to read her new "Vicky Bliss" novel. Anything Ms Peters writes about Egypt, ancient artifacts and mystery will be dead on and a great read. She is my hero.
