This is one of the best yoga books out there! It's a total bargain for anyone who wants a combination of theory and practice. It's full of tons of poses and helpful drawings as well as a large, fascinating section of theory.

A beautiful and profound work of art. Spiegelman struggles not only with his guilt for living a life much less challenging than his father's, a Holocaust survivor, but also, in this second book, with how he deals with becoming a commercial success through his father's suffering.

This book is highly underrated and unrecognized and gets skipped over way too often in favor of some of Irving's more popular novels. This is not a book any Irving fan should miss. The book is full of the usual Irving charm, plus the roles and relationships that arise between siblings and a bear riding in a motorcycle sidecar.

I bought this book yesterday and haven't been able to put it down. I have never seen anyone reading or buying one of Michael Malone's books and I've never seen one on anyone's bookshelves, although I have noticed that they are always on the shelf at the bookstore. They're published by a small publishing company and their covers are very nice and eye-catching. Anyway. I pulled this off the shelf yesterday because I was looking for something, anything to do rather than work on a take-home sociology final on issues in feminism. I read the plot synopsis and was amused. I took it upstairs, read the first two chapters, and remained amused. Twenty-four hours later, I'm done with finals and still engrossed in this book. Michael Malone is solid! Why isn't everyone reading him?!
