My 3 children were given the (Little Golden Book) series by their Grandmother & Grandfather Durden. Each had a personal favorite, but "the jolly barnyard" was/is a favorite of all the family.
This morning I awakened with the words 'Said Farmer Brown' "Tra La, Tra Le, Today is my birthday, Lucky me" fresh in my mind.
I read this book over and over to each one of them!
What a pleasant way to wake up in the morning even though it's no-one's birthday today in our family!
