Destiny Disrupted: A History of the World through Islamic Eyes by Tamim Ansary
Destiny Disrupted: A History of the World through Islamic Eyes

voltzja, January 5, 2010

This is a well written and very readable history of the world from an Islamic viewpoint. The author has approached this topic from a unique view point, having been born in Afghanistan and grown up in the U.S. This book helped clear up a lot of misconceptions and confusion around the Islamic religion and its relationship to world history.
