Had a hard time putting it down. Great character development, great story line. Penn Cage seems to be too good at some times, but it's a book and that's why I read. Loved it.
Another great plot by Grisham. Twists and turns at every corner for the main character, a Yale law school student who escaped trouble years earlier that is now back to haunt him. He turns in to a great detective/spy, but fails to nab the bad guy. The end left me hanging a little, wanting to know what happened to certain story lines that didn't seem to get tied up. Overall, another great novel by Grisham.

Have you ever read something that hit so true to home, and created such a deep emotional response in you that it was the only book you thought you could ever read because all other books pale in comparison? That is this book. Kingsolver has such an amazing way with the was she lays words out, that it is a true joy to read. Each character has a unique and interesting story that intertwines with the other characters, but you don't realize it until the end of the book. This is one of the first fiction books I purchased, and Kingsolver is the only author in the fiction section of my library.
