Wow, what can I say, this book was well written and it told a very painful story that really needed to be told. I came across it because I am in the prosess of writing a simular story myself and was doing some research. I received the book in the mail and began reading it. I didn't put it down until I finished it. I drew a few conclusions... all sadistic people know the same basic torturous "games". There must be a school or something that teaches them these cold hearted skills. I could relate to so many things Trena said and experienced then and is experiencing now. It was both frightening and comforting that Trena was able to go on and escape to some degree. For anyone who has had an abusive past, I recommend this book. Best wishes to Trena and her siblings.
