The most comprehensive book I've read for all stages of healing from childhood sexual abuse. This book is geared mostly toward women, but this does not diminish its usefulness for healing. Personally, I found it to be immensely helpful in my own journey.

The Survivor's Guide to Sex is one of the best and most honest resources for survivors ready to delve into their sexualities. It is very open to all types of preferences and sexual play without being overbearing or intrusive, important for survivors who may feel threatened by sex. An excellent point Staci Haines makes is that you do not need a partner to heal sexually. Again, sexual healing takes time, but this is a very helpful tool. It has stayed at my bedside since I purchased it. A word of warning for those who are just starting their journey of healing: if you find ths book too intense for now, try reading the Courage to Heal by Ellen Bass and Laura Davis.
