I loved this book! Ronnie Swan emerges from the shed in a game of hide and seek with her little sisters, only to find them brutally murdered. Even as Ronnie's parents come to forgive the schizophrenic killer, Ronnie can't move on. Over the years, her plan for revenge on her sisters' killer builds into unbearable suspense and the climax had me babbling frantically at the main character. Mitchard captures the emotions and scenes so well, and this book is both heartbreaking and stunning at the same time. You'll be reluctant to put it down.
One of the best books I have ever read! I'm not a big fan of mystery novels, but The Beekeeper's Apprentice was the perfect combination of suspense, wit, and pulse-racing action. Laurie R. King is a brilliant writer and the sequals to this book are as good as the first. Can't wait to start The Language of Bees!
I have yet to read the third in this series but the first two were amazing. I'm confident that the third will not disappoint because Clare is such a talented writer. I can't wait to find out what happens between Jace and Clary!
