To understand why the U.S. and coalition forces did not pusue Saddam Hussien all the way to Bagdad in Desert Storm, read "It Dosen't take a Hero". Taking on a military force twice their size, allied troops seized victory through stunning ppreparation and dedicaton.

Revelation Unveiled
by
Tim Lahaye
Lonnie Smith
, March 25, 2009
The history of the seven churches Christ admoished and encouraged is very intersting. I didn't know how paganism infiltrated the Catholic Church with its rituals, praying to Mary, deifying her above Christ and praying for the dead, but by Chapter 5 how this came to be is understood. To date, I have read only that far. As I go through the book, I am careful to evaluate how Lahaye's understanding of theology develops against scripture. Also, is Lahaye a Calvanist, believing that Christ's reign of 1000 days has already occured, or where does he stand? Having listened to the conclusion of his novel, "The Rising", I shook my head in disbelief at the last chapter. It was not scriptural or a good ending. With that distortion in mind, readers must be watchful.
