Every year, the booksellers at Powell’s submit their Top Fives: their five favorite books that were released in 2023. A breath taking peace of art.. it made me concentrate on the small simple things in my daily life.. the concept of searching for love after a truama isnt an easy something to put on paper, and Paulo did it perfectly.. The book reflects our sorrows, our wonders and takes us to a place where love and loyalty still exist. It gave me this power to reach for help, not to be ashamed of my past no matter how bad or good it was, to reach out for poeple even if they were strangers actually the more stranger they are the better, and i was shocked 'cause i've never noticed that people always want to reach out for someone as well but theres always this ice wall that keeps us apart.

Stolen lives... it somehow made me think of my life n my interests, specially when they got out n the way they started to think of the people around as shallow superficial individuals.. I think its one of these books that moves you, n give you the push to review your legacey and what did it add to your being giving you the chance to change for the better and makes you appreciate the good and happy moments.. After i read it i decided that whenever one of these happy moments pass by i say it out loud "WHAT A HAPPY MOMENT"..
