Cronkite was a great read. If you have any memory of watching him as a news anchorman, read this book. Great tidbits about the space program, Work War II, Vietnam War etc. A pleasant stroll through our dramatic history.

Very enjoyable read. Great stories of people, discoveries, and how much has been discovered in the relatively recent history of science. I recommend this book to everyone as an easy read.
