This is my favourite book. I've never read a book of this kind before. I know really well how Mai thinks, because i'm an imigrant. It's a sure thing that's it's hard to adapt a whole new and totally different culture. I believe that things will be better with Mai. When i read this story, i can't help keeping on reading to find out if things go like what i thought they will. I recommend people to read this book!!!!!!!

This story is great!! I love the way the author describes the little details such as Sylvie's feelings and thoughts. It's just so real. I just feel like i'm totally into the whole story. I feel sorry for little Sylvie. I'm just one year older than her. If my mom turned out to be like hers, i wouldnt think i could be brave like her. But maybe sometimes we have to face the truth, even when it's unbearable. I don't regret that i read this book. I've just learned more about a new kind of dangerous sickness, Alzheimer
