I have really enjoyed Joseph Heywood,s books about upper Michigan Game Warden & now I was introduced to Kirk Russel's Fish & Game warden from Southern California. I am going to get the rest of the books in the series. Shell Games is about Abalone poaching & drugs. John Marquez is the warden and other characters are well brought in to the story by Mr Russel. Really Good Book!!

By luck I was introduced to the Woods Cop Mystery series and have thoroughly enjoyed them. I have read all up to Shadow of the Wolf Tree which I will read in 2011. Joseph Heywood is great mystery writer and makes you feel that you are actually there in the North Woods. I hope he will continue with the series.
