River of Lakes A Journey on Floridas St Johns River
by
Bill Belleville

, November 03, 2010
Bill Belleville is one of those rare nature writers, reporter and interpreter called for by Rachel Carson, who give voice to the living systems that generate, nurture and sustain wild and human life. This is an important book; a valuable and necessary addition to Florida's character in the minds of visitors and residents alike. I was Bill's armchair companion in the quiet night of kayaking, on the wind blown houseboat, even trembling in the scuba gear as Bill explored the length, breadth and depths of this north flowing, prehistoric river system.

Wow! With three such talents all in one place how could this book be anything but great. Thanks to musician(s) and writer for the inspiration. Capturing a story like this one makes the world a richer place.
