This book has everything: a gripping story, cross cultural interest, great character development, unexpected plot twists and interesting medical information. As a member of the medical community, I find it so very wonderful to have some of the intensity, immediacy and intimacy of medicine shared in this novel. I still find myself in the story, images moving in my mind... Very memorable, I recommend it to my friends and then enjoy talking about it with them.

Luscious Lemon Desserts

This cookbook is everything it says in the comments: the recipes are easy, elegant and get rave reviews. I am not a fancy cook so I appreciate tips on the 'how to' of making some of the deserts. The pictures sell the desserts-a great asset to the book. I took it to my dental appointment and the dentist asked to borrow it so she could copy several recipes. These desserts are perfect for a potluck or family get together. The simple yet beautiful presentation and wonderful taste make them crowd pleasers. I started with the easy lemon-almond cake with blueberry sauce. Try it!
