The plot for this murder mystery is solid (with a particularly unusual method of murder) and the narrator's voice entertaining, but the plot details keep getting repeated often enough that it begins to get irritating. Readers can remember from chapter to chapter the names of the characters being offed and the method by which it was done so!

For the avid mystery reader that loves a puzzle, this is a really good read. Its plot revolves around twins who were shot together, their faces blown away. One dies. Which is the survivor? And why is everyone so interested in which one is alive. Many surprises along the way.

There are some intriguing moments in this travelogue, though overall it wasn't as exciting as the book cover makes it look like it will be. Still, a book worth reading in the current world of events. It definitely brings the reader toward seeing how different cultures see the same situation in totally different ways.
